Jeff Amling
Jeff Amling is FTI Consulting’s Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Business Development, a $200 million EBITDA company. Jeff is also on the Executive Committee of FTI and the Board of Directors. Additionally, Mr. Amling has practiced securities law for more than a decade. Jeff joined FTI Consulting from Deutsche Bank in 2008, where he was a Managing Director in the Media and Telecom Investment Banking group and a Vice Chairman in Corporate Finance. He began his Investment Banking career with Alex Brown in 1983 and founded its Media Investment Banking practice in 1990, a group which he led until 2003. Jeff is a 1976 High Honors Economics graduate of the University of Virginia and received his Law Degree from the University of Maryland in 1981 – Law Review.
Todd McDonald
Todd McDonald is Vice President of Strategy at Liberty Bank and Trust. Todd is responsible for uncovering, evaluating, and developing business plans for growth and performance improvement opportunities, leading high-impact initiatives, and providing overall management for special projects initiated by the CEO and Board and is intimately involved in the company’s high-level corporate strategy decisions that ultimately affect the long-term growth and sustainability of the bank. In addition to his work at Liberty Bank and Trust, Todd’s civic activities include but are not limited to the New Orleans Industrial Development (Board Member), and Louisiana Workforce Commission (Board Member). Todd McDonald received his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Morehouse College and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Ken Simon
Ken Simon has more than 40 years’ experience as a judge, litigator, and mediator. Ken worked for several years in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement in Washington, D.C., where he was an Assistant Director of Enforcement as well as Branch Chief. He is a member of Best Lawyers in America, the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, Alabama SuperLawyers, Mid-South SuperLawyers, the Academy of Court-Appointed Masters, and is a Fellow of the Alabama Law Foundation and the Birmingham Bar Foundation. His law firm, Ken Simon Law, is recognized in Best Law Firms in Alabama. In 2017, he received the MLK Dream Keepers Award for Social Justice, as presented by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
Joe Haggenmiller
Joe Haggenmiller is a member of the CCM board and also a Senior Advisor at Starr Strategic Holdings, which serves emerging-market investors doing business in the United States and around the world. Mr. Haggenmiller is also President of LCR Capital Partners LLC, a private investment and EB-5 advisory firm and is responsible for sourcing and structuring their capital transactions. Mr. Haggenmiller has an MBA from Harvard University and a BA with honors from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. He also attended the London School of Economics as part of their General Course Program.
Scott F. Cha-Choe
As a member of the Executive Management Team, Scott Cha-Choe is responsible for Finance and Business Strategy. He joined Consequent Capital Management during the post-asset purchase period to assist the Board of Directors with Organizational Transformation and Business Development. Prior to joining Consequent, Scott was First Vice President of Middle Market Commercial Lending at Bank of Hope overseeing the Georgia-Southeast Market was responsible for developing new markets in Private Equity, Venture Capital and Life Science & Technology Banking. Mr. Cha-Choe is a graduate of the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California where he majored in Business Administration and Finance. He also has a dual bachelor’s degree in History-emphasis on East Asian Studies.
